About Nick
Nick earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Albany College of Pharmacy in 2008. He began his career with Walgreens in Roanoke, Virginia, before returning to New York to join St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. During his ten-year tenure at St. Joseph’s, he held a variety of clinical and operational roles, including positions in the Emergency Department, orthopedics, and cardiac recovery. He later transitioned into healthcare technology as the Electronic Medical Records Coordinator for the pharmacy module within the Epic system.
In 2020, Nick joined Hematology-Oncology Associates of Central New York (HOACNY), initially working within the organization’s Medically Integrated Pharmacy (MIP), with responsibilities spanning medication authorizations, financial assistance, and patient counseling. In 2022, he was promoted to Director of Pharmacy Services, overseeing both the medically integrated and infusion pharmacies. In this role, he led pharmacy operations and was responsible for accreditation, credentialing, drug contracting, and other strategic pharmacy initiatives.
In 2025, Nick joined The US Oncology Network as Senior Director of Pharmacy Solutions, supporting oncology practices across the Network and providing strategic pharmacy leadership on a national scale.
In 2026, Nick joined Athena Oncology as Chief Analyst, bringing together his experience in clinical pharmacy, oncology operations, technology, contracting, and national pharmacy strategy to help advance Athena’s mission and support oncology practices in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.
Throughout his career, Nick has remained passionate about advancing oncology pharmacy and improving the ways practices deliver high-quality, sustainable patient care.
