NCODA accreditation is our first and only pharmacy accreditation and we appreciate the support of the NCODA team helping us through it. Achieving accreditation is a major milestone for our practice and has elevated the quality and consistency of our pharmacy services. With a heightened focus on quality and access to additional networks, we are able to provide better care for more of our patients. The effort was worth it and we are eager to continue to elevate our service to patients.

Kyle Kitchen, PharmD, MBA | Utah Cancer Specialists

The NCODA accreditation was a rigorous exercise in defining our policies and fine-tuning workflows. The NCODA staff assigned to our practice were responsive to our questions and helped keep all the progress organized as we prepared for submission and onsite survey. The Armature portal kept policies and documents organized by section and was relatively easy to navigate. Having accreditation with NCODA gives us the structure and tools we need to prove to PBMs what we already know; that patients who fill oncolytics through the office are able to get personalized service that is cost effective and timely, addressing all their financial and clinical concerns with a team who knows them by name.

Corey Wilson, RPh | Mission Cancer + Blood

Even though we have URAC and ACHC accreditation, we decided to pursue NCODA’s accreditation because we felt it would benefit our practice. Not only is NCODA’s accreditation patient-centered and focused, but it also challenges us to be a better medically integrated dispensing pharmacy as it tracks multiple aspects of the patient journey throughout oncology.

Meg Butler, PharmD | Clearview Cancer Institute

Having gone through another accreditation process and then seeing the items that are included in the NCODA Accreditation process and standards, it is really what oncology patients should be getting and what oncology practices should be doing. The standards that the NCODA Accreditation is asking for are really exactly what high quality patient care is. Going through the Prime Therapeutics IntegratedRx pilot, we had a patient who gave us high marks. She was having a really hard time filling her medications through her specialty pharmacy that the insurance mandated. Once we were able to start filling medications for her and getting her prescriptions to her within 24 hours, she could not speak highly enough of this new process. This accreditation allows for the best patient care with high quality and improved time to therapy.
