Activity Description
The goal of this CE activity is to provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians education on nutrition and cancer, including the use of antioxidant supplements during chemotherapy treatment. This CE presentation will provide a review of nutritional recommendations and the data surrounding antioxidant use with chemotherapy. Audience members will gain better knowledge and understanding of nutritional needs and difficulties of the cancer patient, and recommendations of antioxidant utilization in practice.

Learning Objectives
- Review the nutritional considerations for the cancer patient.
Explain the myth of sugar and cancer. - Discuss the mechanism of action of antioxidants.
- Describe the data of antioxidant supplement use and chemotherapy.
