Comparing Newly Approved Therapies for Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer

Date: November 3, 2026 | 2:00 PM

This CE-accredited session will focus on how novel agents have reshaped bladder-sparing options for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) since 2022.

Kinjal (Shah) Patel, PharmD, BCOP, of Fox Chase Cancer Center, gives healthcare providers a working comparison of each agent’s mechanism, NCCN-guided place in therapy, administration and toxicity profile, and the cost/drug-accrual logistics that determine how patients access them in practice.

Learning Objectives

  1. Compare the clinical characteristics of various agents used in the NMIBC setting, including their mechanisms of action, indications, guideline placement, administration, and safety profiles.
  2. Explain pharmacy operational considerations associated with various agents used in the NMIBC setting, including hazardous-drug handling, coding, buy-and-bill processes, and patient access.
