Activity Description

This continuing education session aims to enhance the understanding of how specific HLA variants, such as HLA-B35 and HLA-DRB104, predispose NSCLC patients to immune-related pneumonitis when treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). It emphasizes the clinical importance of HLA testing as a predictive tool to identify high-risk patients and guide treatment strategies for better outcomes. By focusing on precision medicine, the session supports healthcare professionals in personalizing cancer care to reduce adverse effects and improve patient management.
