Activity Description
The goal of this activity is to review some of the therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals used in oncology today. Clinical trial data, mechanisms of action, common adverse events, management and supportive care will be reviewed. Audience members will gain better knowledge, understanding and confidence in the place in therapy and management of patients receiving therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.

- Describe how radiation can cause cell death. 3. Interpret the clinical data behind 3 therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
- Review the common side effects, management, and monitoring requirements for 3 therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
- Summarize common patient counseling points for radiopharmaceuticals.
