Bio | Throughout my life I have always had the nickname “Sunshine.” I strive every day to be full of joy and happiness in order to bless those around me. I grew up in a very small town in Eastern North Carolina where my character was shaped greatly. I attended small schools throughout my education and I actually graduated from a community college with my Associate in Arts and my Associate in Sceince degrees two weeks before graduating from high school. My hard work ethic and determination as well as my faith and love for the Lord allowed me to dream big and reach outstanding goals. While in high school I was very actively involved in the North Carolina Academy of Dance Arts where I was a ballerina. This major dedication to dance taught me how to balance many aspects of life. I continued my education at Campbell University where I spent one year in undergrad before beginning pharmacy school in the fall of 2021. I have a true passion for the field of pharmacy and the opportunities that are available within it. My absolute goal is to become a pediatric oncology pharmacist in a setting like St. Judes. I am currently a pharmacy intern at CVS and interacting with people day in and day out gives me a vast appreciation for those who truly care about others, as I try to show each day. I have many goals for myself both personally and professionally and I strive each day to get closer to reaching them. |
