Register and view the agenda for the 2024 Oncology Institute.

Join your NCODA peers and partners in Boston for the sixth annual NCODA Oncology Institute (OI) on August 20-21. Partners In Progress: Delivering Equitable Care through Partnership with Industry and the Oncology Community our theme this year emphasizes the critical role of collaboration between life-science organizations, oncology practices, and community-based organizations in advancing health equity. Delivering optimal patient care to all is a shared vision that can contribute to improved outcomes and survivorship.

At OI 2024, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shared understanding and best practices in oncology care and patient education. Conference days are filled with learning and networking opportunities that can support your personal and professional development goals while bringing back insights to advance your organization.

Key topic tracks will include equitable care delivery, clinical trial engagement, drug distribution models, patient services and support, and social determinants of health data and insights.

A highlight and unique opportunity of this year’s OI is the formation of the Health Equity Steering Committee, comprised of leaders from across the United States dedicated to working towards a louder voice for patients regarding equitable access to oncology care. Partners of OI will be provided with the opportunity for focused meetings with the Committee to discuss topics of their choice, fostering stronger dialogue and meaningful innovation.

“At OI 2024, there will be the opportunity to contribute to shared understanding and best practices in equitable oncology care. The topic tracks – equitable care delivery, drug distribution models, and patient services and support, were chosen to foster change potentially impacting how organizations think about collaboration with the oncology community,” said Sam Abdelghany, PharmD, Executive Director with Smilow Cancer Hospital and member of the OI Steering Committee.

Together, we face the challenge of ensuring equitable access to oncology care for all patients. By uniting our efforts, we can improve outcomes, making equitable patient care a reality for everyone.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the conversation and drive meaningful change in the fight against cancer. Registration is now available, and if you’re interested in participating as a sponsor to support OI 2024, please contact sharita.howe@ncoda.org for more information.
